What Is the FPL AC Rebate Program?
Florida Power & Light offers a residential rebate to encourage homeowners to replace older, less-efficient air conditioners with newer, energy-saving systems. The rebate is $200 and is delivered as an instant credit on your invoice — there are no forms to mail and no waiting for a check.
The one requirement that trips most homeowners up: the work has to be done by an FPL Participating Independent Contractor (PIC). FPL only allows the instant credit to flow through approved contractors enrolled in the program. Fahrenheit AC is one of them, so the savings are built into your install from day one.
A higher-efficiency system doesn’t just earn the rebate — upgrading an aging unit can meaningfully lower your monthly FPL bill in South Florida’s long cooling season, where your A/C runs nearly year-round.
